This course covers scientifically based behavior change methods; functional assessment; observation methods; goal and objective writing; various reinforcement techniques; data collection and interpretation; and development and monitoring of an appropriate intervention based on the function of the problem behavior. This course covers additional topics, including Pivotal Response Teaching and Discrete Trial Teaching.
